Enjoy an evening of country music

Lianne Rose will be performing at the Showgrounds from 7pm on Saturday night. Food will be available, and the bar will be open until late. There's even a courtesy bus, leaving at 10.00pm, to get you home to Gunning, Dalton, and Breadalbane. So come along and make a night of it! (Sponsored by the Telegraph Hotel.)

Sunday is kids day

Bring the whole family along on Sunday for plenty of fun and games. There'll be free face painting by the Gecko Gang, who will also be bringing along a couple of their most popular activities. Become a 'human fly' by donning a velcro suit and launching yourself at the 'Stick-Up Wall'. Younger kids can bounce around inside the 'Balloon Typhoon'. (Major sponsor: Gunning Service Centre.)

On Sunday afternoon, there's a number of new children's events. The fun kicks off with a fancy dress contest at 2.00pm, followed by competitions for the best-decorated bike and wheelbarrow. Then there'll be a series of traditional kids events - egg and spoon races, sack races and more! All participants receive a prize and winners earn points towards a $200 prize for their school.

Showbags and rides are back

Returning this year are those traditional show favourites - showbags and rides. Both kids and parents will be pleased with the range of reasonably-priced showbags available, while Durkin Amusements will keep young thrillseekers amused with the Cha Cha and Dodgem Cars.
